Now you can have working QR codes that look like artwork: Redditor creates working anime QR codes using Stable Diffusion
On Tuesday, a Reddit user named “nhciao” posted a series of artistic QR codes created using the Stable Diffusion AI image-synthesis model that can still be read as functional QR codes by smartphone camera apps. The functional pieces reflect artistic styles in ...continues
@danie10 This is cool but imagine what's possible...
If you can train a #ML / #AI to learn how to hack (sort of ugly) images to be readable as QR codes, how about training #ML and generative AI to create beautiful images that nearly invisibly embed data readable only by an #ML trained app?
Outline: Pick from fixed set of 1600 "QRmojiis". Generator ML perturbs image to embed data in pleasing way. Reader ML recognizes base image, takes the diff & reads the perturbations as data.
I'm Kahlil, but you may call me Lunæros! I'm extremely new here, just making my way downtown, migrating from the abdominal X app for a plethora of reasons.
Some want us to believe that #GlobalWarming somehow only recently came into the mainstream. This is false and easy to prove. Here's two screenshots from Mobile Police Patlabor, an #anime from 1988 which I watched as a kid.
We knew, everybody knew. It's just that the #FossilFuels industry lobbied hard for politicians to look the other way.
@gabrielesvelto This shit was already being brought up on pop culture by the late seventies. Everyone knew, they just kept kicking the ball down the hill until there was no more hill left.
Tailler des ardoises décoratives. Mais pas comme j'ai l'habitude d'en voir (cœur, croissant de Lune, étoile). Aller le plus loin possible pour tester la résistance du matériau, quitte à tout briser dans les derniers coups de marteau...
Did you know the JSL sign for Dragon Ball is literally doing a kamehameha? Akira Toriyama created one of the most iconic attacks in all of anime and manga. It sucks to see him gone so soon...
@NaraMoore Absolutely. Because let me tell you a secret: I cheated to try and make the AI sub a bit better because it always literally translated Usagi's name as rabbit. Which was just too brutal and I assume anyone who cared at all would fix.
As you watch #anime or read #manga find the week's specified item/concept and then share a screenshot/picture with everyone using the hashtag #AnimangaFoundIt
This week's main theme is: Cake 🍰
And...
This week's bonus theme is the first theme we had on this challenge: Cats!
Ends: December 26 because I know the 24 is going to be a busy day :kon_Christmas:
With the recent success of #Oppenheimer it felt appropriate to choose Barefoot Gen for our first viewing. It is an important part of anime history discussing a major moment in Japanese history that should never be forgotten.
To make this VERY clear this is about the bombing of Hiroshima and isn't a light fluffy film, you may want to research ahead of time to get a handle on what you'll be watching.
I hope you'll tune in and live toot your viewing experiences using #Animedon! If you also enjoy horror films and want an epic double feature, keep an eye out for what #Monsterdon is watching that week too.
Follow #AnimedonAlert to make sure you don't miss future announcements. Now let's get the word out so we can connect us anime fans on the fediverse!
With the first #Animedon just a day away I'm only left with one question: What should we all watch together for our second week? I want you #anime fans to weigh in on this one and leave suggestions for future viewings in the replies!
THIS IS TODAY!!! I'm extremely excited for the first #Animedon and to watch this with you all. Make sure you're buckled in because this is going to be an emotional ride.
#introduction
Hello everyone, I'm Silhouette (she/her)! I've been lurking a bit to get the lay of the land that is Mastodon.
As my bio state, I'm a big fan of #anime#manga and #videogames. I also love #books#wrestling, and I'm in a constant rotation of fandoms. Just to name a few: #deadbydaylight#jujutsukaisen#TokyoRevengers#masseffect#dragonage
I speak both French and English, so feel free to use either when talking with me.
I'm quite shy, so I will try to be active as much as I can
I am currently trying to study anything #technology so that I know what part of the #tech field (specifically #computerscience or just #coding in general) I want to be in, so if anyone can give me advice on where I can find good free classes or research into these subjects I would really appreciate it!
