Hello everyone! I'm back on Mastadon, and wanted to share a quick intro post to highlight a little about me.
My name is Kody Boye. I'm a young adult writer of horror, fantasy, and science-fiction. My work tends to concentrate on young people who face extraordinary circumstances, and who fight to change their worlds as a result.
My work is presently available exclusively on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

I'm a massive One Piece fan and try to watch a few new shows each season. My preferenc is for light hearted and featuring adult characters which is why Wotakoi and New Game are some of my absolute favourite shows
I like programming sounds with #pd, #maxmsp and hardware synths, DAW's, etc. But tools don't matter in the end as you probably know, aesthetics do -- and reverb algorithms. Do you know any?
I spent too much time with #linux and #haskell. I reaaaally don't like commercial ads. After all, is the internet post-modern?

I wrote my first source code in the eighties, studied chemistry (including cheminformatics) and now do research into biology, but particularly how we can represent chemical and biological knowledge to get more accurate answers.

Well, most people think I’m a walking contradiction. I’m both serious and funny. Science-minded yet creative. Visual and verbal. Introverted yet extroverted when I connect with someone. Hi, I'm a New Zealand author who has been in love with the written word for over forty years.
I've written everything from humorous epic fantasy (The Sylvalla Chronicles) to short stories for children (The Sir Julius Award winning Frankie and the Netball clone.) I'm currently writing the portal fantasy, Blood of the Fae.
I'm passionate about the environment, equity & divesting from certain big corporations.
