Inspired by #PrivacyBadger logo. I want to draw it in slightly different style but failed during working on this :/ At least I kept a bit of Privacy Badger vibe.
Third piece: Badger doing a dance in some eastern woodlands inspired regalia. Inspired by indigenous culture, books I have been reading such as the Seven Generations and the Seven Grandfather Teachings as well as The Manitous.
My new #painting is "Badgers beneath". I hope you like it.
#Badgers don't hibernate, but they do go into a kind of sleepy lethargy enabling them to sleep for days through the worst of the winter weather. Sensible! Here are four badgers, curled up together, safely embraced by the roots of an #oak.

BROCK SHOCK: #Badger culls were never about stopping #Bovine#Tuberculosis. It was about sucking up to psychotic farmers and their irrational scapegoating of anything they can't just shoot or poison into extinction.
"Badger culls are not best way to cut bovine TB, report finds
"Exclusive: #BadgerTrust analysis comes 10 years after government started culls in #England against scientific advice..."
Improved cattle testing, better financial and mental health support for farmers, and cattle and badger vaccination will more effectively tackle bovine TB in cattle than culling badgers, according to a report. The review of evidence by the Badger Trust comes after 10 years of culling in England killed 210,237 badgers, costing £58.8m, without a significant easing of cattle TB.
My parents are trying to install Peacock so they can watch the #Badger game, but it's not going well. I lost patience and told them to "listen to it on the radio." Yeah, sports on streaming is going great. #CFB
Prompt:
"a Unicorn, in evening dress, playing a transparent piano with a choir of badgers upstage."
Well, no transparency, only one pianist has a horn, the badgers are not badgers, and in one case has horns, and in one case is missing altogether. One of the pianos is rather odd.
You don’t often see baby badgers, but this one was hanging around Edinburgh Botanical Gardens today in broad daylight. No sign of mummy and daddy badger anywhere, but it looked very confident. Cuteness overload… 😍 we let a gardener know and she didn’t realise they had a resident, hope they don’t start digging things up!

One from my archive for #PhotoMonday#FotoMontag - a beautiful #Badger cub who was out exploring the grassland around his or her underground home when I visited the sett one afternoon.
