I have just seen this Octopus Blanket on Design Ideas Hub, and the whole conundrum about whether to do some massive cosplay party night or just hang around eating Pot Noodle and watching telly under a blanket at home just vaporised.

Our last Batman Day spotlight is a Batfamily team up! The Smoke and Knightmage are two of the most prolific cosplayers I know--I have over 100 costumes and they have me beat 😂 but it's not a competition--it's all love. Got out and around for #Halloween tonight with a friend of mine for the first field test of the #Stormtrooper gear - got a lot of waves from the ladies so clearly the girls love the bad boys. Wore it for about 2 hours, so a few observations:
Getting in or out of a car without assistance is impossible
Armor pinches quite a bit
Upper back strain started about 90 minutes in
Headache from visegrip helmet foam started about 105 minutes in
TLF and I did several cosplay photo shoots during our trip to AmiCamp in Athens. This is one of the results. Except for the gun prop, I put this costume together more than 15 months ago already, so I’m very happy to finally have presentable pictures of it.
