We at @Vivaldi continue to be the only browser company all in on Mastodon and the Fediverse.

We have made our own instance, Vivaldi Social. Any user that has a Vivaldi account for sync or other services, can easily enable a presence on Vivaldi Social.

We have integrated Mastodon as a Web panel into Vivaldi.

We include links to Vivaldi Social into Vivaldi.

We also work on integrating our blogs and forums into the Fediverse.

We hope others will follow. Mozilla has talked a lot and we hope they will join us fully soon.

Curious to see if a LLM, once built, can sustain itself without new human generated content. Why build your new 'fields of dreams' on the web, if users are never going to come anyway.

Here in , our internet sometimes drops for hours, sometimes a day or two. For fun, I setup offline internet content server using and old laptop and WiFi router. Now we have our own private that never goes down (except when the power is out, which is another toot).
We have and lots of other useful content, all available without an internet connection. To learn more, follow the Kiwix Project.

Wish I could have got a picture and the story of the woman on an old motor scooter wearing a huge back pack with the camping gear somehow lashed to the scooter, traveling on the shoulder of I-94 in 102F Montana heat. I bet she's an interesting person. I hope she gets safely to where she's heading.

We made it to Cape Girardeau, MO. Lots of traffic coming in. The skies are clear with thin high altitude clouds. It should be good viewing here if conditions hold.

Just watched for the dozenth+ time. On a combo VCR/DVD player I bought for $20. On a $1.99 DVD. On a 720p(i) TV.
Have to say, it is aging well: inter gender and interracial cooperation. The inter-genre music still incredible. The choreography outstanding. Pays homage to spaghetti westerns, love stories, Bruce Lee, film noir, sci-fi, war, apocolypse, crime drama, and more.
Has there ever been a more quintessentially movie than the Matrix?
It lays bare the American fascination with guns, the individual, distrust of government, and redemption through and our fear of it. It fully predicts dangers of AI. Fuck, it even predicts AI.
All while being fully entertaining and a warning.
The Matrix is 's playbook.
Jesus Christ, this is a good movie and its aging well.

I had driven by this giant buffalo statue in a thousand times, but finally decided to stop and photograph it. I was surprised at how tall and anatomically correct it is. North Dakota's politicians could use a set of balls like these.
