@GossiTheDog @evacide This sounds like employer surveillance ware that can also be abused by any family admin. I can’t think of any reason I would want such a thing, as a user.

Also, if browser password managers are insecure, we should be shouting that from the rooftops.

SARS-CoV-2 attacks the mitochondria in cells, depleting their energy.

"researchers found that the virus blocks specific genes that use oxygen to create ATP, forcing the body to deplete finite energy reserves in the body. Without an energy source, cells throughout the body begin to starve, with the cells powering the brain and the heart suffering the most.”

Pro tip: If you want people to get vaccinated, stop showcasing giant hypodermic needles piercing skin with every single article, announcement, and poster about it.

WTF people. What do you think vaccine hesitation is mostly about? Lay off the stock photography cliches. You might as well be showing spiders to arachnophobes.

No-fault divorce saves lives, lots of them. In the US, women’s suicide rates went way down after it became possible to leave their abusers.

"states that adopted no-fault divorce experienced a decrease of 8 to 16 percent in wives' suicide rates and a 30 percent decline in domestic violence."

In the bad old days, you had to prove infidelity or sometimes lack of sexual ability in order to get a divorce. Being abused wasn’t sufficient unless some judge decided it was. (1/2)

The excellent news is that you and your kids can get an MMR vaccine right now that will protect you and all the people you might otherwise infect with . The child you save may be your own.

If you had the vaccine, but it's been 50 years or so, get a booster, say doctors. The recent MMRs are also more effective than the first ones.

In the US? Tell the CDC what you think about getting Covid vaccines only once per year, given that effectiveness wanes in a few months. Feb 22 is the last day to comment:

Form for comments: https://www.regulations.gov/document/CDC-2024-0001-0001

Meeting agenda: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/acip/
It’s a PDF that just says they’ll be talking about vaccines, but frequency is on the table.

Google is suddenly all for the unconstitutional requirement to save the children by having everyone else prove they aren’t children in order to be online.

It’s a perennially stupid idea, because surveillance, unauthorized disclosure, religious oppression, and every kind of government overreach would become worse.
