Today, March 21 (or rather tonight) is the spring equinox 2023. I celebrate end of winter by starting this years count down of the 91 days until the summer solistice, documenting gardening and spring/pre summer progress.
This is what it looks like today …

"Life is a beautiful magnificent thing, even to a jellyfish." - Charlie Chaplin

Maybe once every 10 yrs, a boom in Jellyfish comes up the harbour. Kids & adults were up the river tubing. When they reached the mouth of the river, they were trapped by 1000s of small jellyfish.

I used my boat to rescue a few, stingers were everywhere.

I'd never seen so many, that make it to the river.

This is normal on the islands, they're rather pretty

The reflection on the ocean, of my phone in hand, snapping a photo of a jellyfish, purple translucent body, with petal-like edges and trailing stingers
A full big jellyfish in shallow water. Still some stingers left, but the dark purple body, with octagon white V markings around the fringe of the body.

What's the weather in your part of the world looking like today?

Here in Winston Salem, NC, it's going to be a decently hot day as you can see. We'll get up to about 82F, which for me is about 40 degrees way too hot!

A springtime scene that I hope you may enjoy. Our first flush of spring has passed already but it's my second favorite season so I'm dragging it on in my head a bit. LOL (Fall is my favorite).

Our Asian pear is slowly dying but it has not giving up yet. It’s made a few sickly flowers and I can see one tiny little pear.

I recently read a post on "6 Ways To Pass Parameters to API". Though the title is a bit misleading, as it’s unrelated to REST, it does an excellent job listing all ways to send parameters to a Spring application. I want to do the same for ; it’s beneficial when you write a custom plugin.

Went on a walk to get out of a stretch of loop thinking and self-pity. Sun and help a lot. Thought I'd share.

Same, wider view.
