The August 2015 #Blog archive is up! This was a doozy!
It was my first time participating in Blaugust - I wrote all 31 posts! You'll find lots of old #MMORPG boxes, some #FFIXV, where we began playing #ARK for the first time and a series on the game that changed my life.
While Wordpress and other options do exist, I need to make a site and am thinking about starting from scratch. I want to have a blog part, but then that means actually learning CSS and not just putting a style block in each page or tag. Any reliable free hosing services out there? I'm looking at Neocities, but there's no guarantee that content will not be lost. If something happens, unless I somehow remember to have several backups I could lose my whole site.
Still working to renovate the #photography gallery on my #blog. Hopefully I'll have a shiny new page to share before the weekend is out.

Pacific black ducks always make lovely subjects with their dramatic eye stripes. Those jewel tones aren't artificial; the water and leaves shone vivid colors in bright morning light.

What’s a good web hoster (service) for all-in-one website hosting? I’m looking for someone who wants 100% control of the process, without me in middle having to SSH on the server to change configs and so on. The software should be some sort of website generator.

Since Mastodon's limit on characters doesn't allow lengthy Posts I have in mind on some subjects I pondered starting a #blog . Checking The possibilities of The #fediverse I am a little Bit crushed with information. I found Websites saying #friendica#writefreely#plume or #socialhome would be for blogging, but couldn't find much Else, since Most explanations are about Mastodon.
Could someone pleased #help and elaborate where The differences are, or give some pointers? 😊
