I would totally get lost in endless pictures of #soviet#tech. Do you know of any good book to buy or account to #follow about that? Like this Agat, a soviet 8-bit #computer first introduced in 1983.
Hello lovely folks! Reposting my #Introduction for my new instance. My interests are all over the place, but these are the things I'm most likely to post about:

Streaming has one big flaw: Often you can't find #movies older than the 70's.
Is there a streaming service available internationally on which I can find really old stuff? Everything from 20's to the 60's will do. #GoldenAge#SciFi#Noir
Return to Alflynd: Cockpit Interior
I had no idea what to say to Emily - her home had just been destroyed, by something that, from all appearances, I had awakened on MA862.3.
"Don't worry, it wasn't you." she said. "I checked the ship logs. She was on that planet the day after you left, and judging from how fast she stole your ship, she knew that thing was coming."
Sunset Grill http://sunsetgrillcomic.com/ is a #sciFi, #cyberpunk-ish story by @katfeete that orbits around the patrons of the titular eatery in the sums of a NA city some 400 years from now. And it's a masterpiece.
TBH, I was skittish at filing this under “interesting stories, poorly drawn” —not because the author has a Fediverse account, but because you have to squint really hard, even in the early pages, to find those typical signs of 3D render problems.

Gaming time..
I played a lot Age of Wonders serie this last week. Mainly the last: Age of Wonders 4. What a great game I think.
I also loved the scifi universe of Age of Wonders - Planet Fall.
I'm on Encased since yesterday. You can catch it at only $1 on Instant Gaming. Science fiction dystopic.. Really a great one! :0)
Between 2014 and 2019 I co-created a 6 part space saga called Space Captain: Captain of Space. Originally planned as a fun romp through space, quickly turned into a space opera of sorts, with some darker moments.
The piece won't be appearing till next year, but the payment, though semi-pro is still 3c a word with the possibility of a further reprint fee down the track. So not too bad.
Chamberlain’s second Compute! book, “All About the #Commodore 64, Volume Two,” was the first appearance of #Sidplayer, which would become the US's most popular #C64 music system.
A random assortment of 80 people are plucked out of their lives and wake up in an unknown location. A voice speaks in their minds like a loud speaker and informs them that this is a race. The choice is to race or die. And here are the rules: 1. Do not touch the grass. 2. Stay on the path. 3. Do not get lapped twice. The penalty for disobeying: death. Follow the arrows and the school, the house and the prison are safe. Only one can win. This is The Human Race. #horror#scifi#cinema#film

Frank Herbert's feelings about Star Wars -- and its similarities to his epic Dune series -- were decidedly mixed. Here's why it's not a simple answer.”
