Automated decision-making will be unleashed across more areas of our lives. Algorithmic biases and all.

Under the , decisions with legal or similarly significant effects will be at the mercy of AI, unless it's based on special category data.

Although we'll retain a right to appeal these decisions, this is likely to be of little use as we lack access and resources to scrutinise and challenge how an AI system works.
