"Enshittification" isn't just a way of describing the symptoms of platform decay: it's also a theory of the mechanism of decay - the means by which platforms get shittier and shittier until they are a giant pile of shit.

The FSA #Faircamp site is online! There's a couple tweaks to be made, for example, I seem to have gotten at least one release date wrong (copy/paste strikes again), but nothing I'm worried about fixing right away.
Support is always appreciated, but feel free to just listen or take advantage of the "soft" paywall too.
working on a new personal thing, bringing my love for #illustration, #animation and #electronic music together in one project. Let's see where it goes…
[SOLVED, thanks!] Electronics help, please. This is a 48vdc to 12vdc converter. There's nothing to tell me which wire is the 48vdc in, 12vdc out, and the ground. Can anyone tell which is which looking at this circuit? It's Chinese made. Thanks!
Tomorrow is my friend's #birthday 🎈 and she makes #electronic#music, so maybe if you all want to be kind, you can stream / buy her music in the next 24 hours.
Boost this post 🚀 and let's see if we can create a little peak in her sales / streams on her birthday. 📈 📈 📈
I love my #musiclibrary. @quodlibet is perfect for maintaining a large collection imho. I constantly tweak #tags, normalize filenames, adjust replay gain, etc. and listen to exactly the music I want. For example, sometimes I feel like #techno with #vocals, no problem. Sometimes I want #instrumental#electronic, done. 😜 I might make a video about my setup in the near future simply because I enjoy it so much. ☺️ In the meantime, what do you prefer, local #files or #streaming for #musiclistening?
I want to take a moment and thank everyone who took the time to listen to my music yesterday and an extra thanks to those that purchased it. That means a lot. It was definitely a high point in terms of people checking out my music, so I consider this Bandcamp Friday a big success.
Also, I want to put out an extra special shout out to @yoniden and @etherdiver for all of their sharing of other people's music and spreading the word. From what I saw, the two of you were putting in a lot of good energy into helping people share their work. It was awesome to see.
Something a bit different from the ambient and/or noisy stuff this time. This little chunk of kinda cheesy techno was made with Caustic (the phone app, which also has a free Win version). It started from a loop that's been kicking around on my phone for probably a year or so, but since it was the kind of idea that never fit with anything else I did (or was likely to do), it just sat there. Synthtember has given it a reason to live, lol.
my new album 'Northbound' has been released today 🎈
I have been working on it for the last two years and I'm excited to share it now.
It contains #downtempo music as well as #electronic#club#music with elements of #Soul & #Afro and on three of the tracks wonderful vocalist #Jepka is featured again. Really happy to see it released now and thanks to everyone who supported/bought it already 🙌
Analog vs digital vs software. What's your preference and why?
What's your favorite way of doing synths? Knob twiddling, wires, or some fancy downloads?
