One thing I always struggle with in programming is the following:
Suppose I have a Player-Class and a Unit-Class (Player controls n Units).
When creating a Unit, I have a Units-List on my Player where I append the Unit. But I also would like to have easy access from the Unit to the Player, so the Unit gets a "Player"-Attribute where I have a reference to the Player.
Is there any better way? Or is this a classic time vs space tradeoff/complexity?
I kinda want to learn some typography. What are good resources to check out for that?
I usually just slap "Source Code Pro" and "Crimson Text" into everything that I do, but I think my stuff would feel more "polished" if I had a personal typeface (or multiple different ones), that I can use instead.

@matt That's quiet neat. One could even put a hidden hashtag like #question and some category hashtag to the item so they would be indexable. In #ActivityPub the hashtag does not have to be on the body and it still works. Mastodon doesn't render the hidden tags but it still indexes those.

Hey Fedi, quick #question. For a while now, I wanted to make my (already self-hosted) #git repository available on the web, but only in a bare-minimum, read-only way. The stuff big forges use (gogs, gitea, gitlab, etc) is too big and featureful for the quick'n'dirty thing I want. No accounts, no writing. Simple.
So what do you recommend? I think something like the https://git.kernel.org interface could work, maybe even simpler. Would it, without anything extra installed allow git cloning?

We've been hearing how Apple will do AR and VR right for over 11 years now from the tech press. A tech press that has largely downplayed every "face computer" released since Google Glass, while Apple has delivered NOTHING in this space for over a decade of journalist hype.
This is a pocket industry of people that have not participated or contributed much to the evolution of XR headsets.
Now that many of them are trying to jump on the Vision Pro hype train, monetizing that Apple review traffic, do we think those tech journos are really going to stick with Mixed Reality?
