So.

My sister lives in a small town in the lost countryside of Brazil

While there, her and my BIL met an older gentleman.

The older gentleman is from a Germanic family. Many people in that region of Brazil are. Thus, he has a Germanic surname.

Unfortunately for him. That surname is 'Porn'.

I don't know if that surname means anything somewhere in central -- Doesn't matter for the intents of this silly little story.

Mr. Porn, see, owns a small business that drives people around in busses and vans. — A — Transportation business.

Sometimes. The bestows a gift upon humanity.

Sure, no data leak at all.

Those who follow me know I am not one to post about politics and I try to stay out of #X and related debates. But come on… reinstating Alex Jones’ account?!!?? . IMO, if you are still on Twitter or still supporting that platform, you are part of the problem now.

This, my friends, is why you don't buy that use a service. If it won't run without an connection? DO NOT BUY IT.

(Other reasons to avoid cloud services include privacy issues, devices becoming unusable after purchase, and a high potential for the device to be hacked.)

It’s quiet something that it’s 2024 and I want to demonstrate making a basic counter web app accessible but I can’t do it on my state of the art Linux machine running today’s Fedora Silverblue because Fedora (and any other Linux distribution that ships with Wayland by default) doesn’t have a functional screen reader and, having just tried it on macOS, I see that VoiceOver reads negative values in text nodes as positive values.

But, hey, at least we have AI, amirite?

To get a logo and blue checkmark as a verified BIMI sender in , organizations have to shell out $1,500/year to buy a digital certificate proving ownership of a trademarked brand. Seriously? Talk about gatekeeping and commercializing what should be free and easily accessible features.
