My spouse just tested positive for Covid, so I probably will soon as well.
We barely leave the house because of my chronic health issues, and when we have to (grocery, pharmacy, vet) we always wear N95 masks.
I fucking hate our society and how governments & people decided to ignore this pandemic. I was able to avoid getting infected for 3 years. Now I just need to pray I don't get complications on top of my current health issues.

Like, I can barely get out of bed on a good day, the best I can do is share posts on social media, if that's not ''good enough'' for you go fuck yourself.
Serious question: what is the vegan/plant-based solution for folks like me who want to eat more veg but can’t always tolerate them well due to IBD/etc? As much as I love beans/hummus/shrooms/tofu, I haven’t found anything quite so nutrient-dense and digestible as animal protein. Even shakes and supplements don’t really satiate my hunger.
Again, this is a serious question. I got to get out of the house yesterday! My girlfriend and I went for a drive and I saw SCENERY and NATURE and ART and it was so good for my soul. When #MECFS keeps you homebound most of the time, a few hours of seeing something besides the inside of your house feels magical. Hoping the PEM isn’t too bad, but it was worth it! We had to pull over and take pictures of this fascinating house—and it feels like a house others who are #ChronicallyIll would relate to!
