This collage is one of my favorite.
I'm obsessed with photos of doors and windows and I have now a large collection from all over the world. I selected the most beautiful and colorful ones for this collage.
Evening all I hope you've had a good day today ? Calling it a night, been a long day. I've been reviewing this year. thankfully it was better than last (not difficult since I've not had a heart attack this year, to date) But i was looking how my photos have changed to previous years. Are they better or worse? I'm not sure. Some I like, others I don't as much. I probably don't feel as comfortable as I used to do behind a camera though wish I knew why!
Anyway, I hope my enthusiasm will come back along with a better sense of composition, thats my new years wish anyway!
It was a #video#collage of #women of all ages, doing "indecent" things: playing football, riding horses, shooting bows, working in the laboratory, dancing or just standing on the street - all off them clapping hands in a short sequence, which was obviously some kind of defiant signal.
The creator, and "narrator" of this was a man in his fifties, heavily bearded in an unkempt style. As a as I remember, no word was spoken, just music, clapping and writing on the wall.
It was very powerful and a jewel in my long gone collection of anti-patriarchal video-clips.
Now I am trying to find it again. Will somebody #help me, please?
Good morning Trilobite! This is one of a series of prints of one of the ubiquitous and wildly successful trilobites, prehistoric creatures which lived for hundreds of millions of years, carved by hand in linoleum, printed onto lovely Japanese washi papers and collaged with papers in different colours. 🧵1/2
Yeah, there is something fishy going on! Another grouper. Here in Florida we are known for these beautiful fish...I know right now we are known for crap politics, but I have to live here due to Hubby's job, so I am looking on the bright side as much as I can! Eyes on the ocean....ahhhhh
February 18 is World Pangolin Day draw attention to the plight of the world’s most trafficked animals, these magnificent scaly mammals. There 8 species of #pangolin in Africa & Asia, all endangered, threatened by poachers for their meat & scales (used in traditional medicines) & by habitat loss and deforestation. 🧵1/2
And now for a little (ok A LOT) of color! I loved this pattern in black and white, but couldn't resist collaging it with my Color Fusion painted fabric. I hope you like it too!
I started painting a bowl of fruit, but I didn't like it. I tore everything apart and made a collage out of the scraps of paper. Now I like it. It looks like a mosaic.
