We went out for shopping on #Saturday. Met up with a friend and went to Thaliva Indian Kitchen in Park Ridge. It is a place we have been wanting to go to for a while after someone told us it some of the best South Indian in #Chicagoland. We got dosas and finished the day with a South Indian Filter Coffee. Worth a trip out on the Metra!

Today is mending & all the chores I didn't get to during the week!
G has a visit with the budgie doctor, so there will be the whole transfer into the hated travel cage and separation (from T) anxiety thing to negotiate. I'll count my fingers afterwards... for such a little bird she has a healthy vice like grip with her beak!

Good morning and happy Saturday! Was up early to drop my oldest off for a trip with his Grandfather (my FIL) and a friend to see some cars, while I then ran off to get early morning fasting bloodwork done. Yay for me.
The Werner Seelenbinder Turm/ Tower at the site of the former Zentralstadion, Leipzig.
The home of RB Leipzig - "Germany's most hated club" - was built within the terraces of the old stadium, itself built by local people from the ruins of WWII.
Seelenbinder was an Olympic wrestler, anti-fascist and communist executed by the Nazis.
I’m stoked we won Game 3.. but don’t let it get to your heads!! We got Game 4 on #Saturday night and it would be wild to sweep the cans 🧹 …. but that won’t be easy.
