I watched this Bittern for about 20 minutes while he wrestled this snake from the grass. The snake was wrapped tightly in the reeds, then wrapped himself all around the bird, his beak, trying to bite, but in the end he still became lunch. You witness some crazy things while looking for wildlife in Florida.
We had our first quiet Saturday in a long time. This afternoon we made some time for art and creativity! @dohappybelove did the watercolor painting and @seanbala made a long-stitch book. The inside of Sean's book was made from an old calendar that we had lying around.
