So, I don't know how many people know this, but several Republican organizations, including the Heritage Foundation, Turning Point USA, the Family Policy Alliance, the American Conservative, and others are working with former Trump administration officials to develop a comprehensive plan to remake the entire federal government into Trump's image if he wins the election.

They published a playbook titled "Project 2025" this year in which they spell out how they're going to take on the "deep state" by stocking ever agency - FDA, State Department, DHS, USAID, EPA, NIH, etc. - with MAGA loyalists to cut every DEI program, end all support for LGBTQ+ people, eliminate food stamps, cut humanitarian aid to Palestinians, and so on.

All Republicans are at least as bad as Trump, if not worse.

The United States Dept of War produced a film called “Don’t be a sucker” in 1947 specifically addressing the tenets of Nazisim and fascism in a bid to prevent this from happening again.

It’s amazing that almost 80 years later, that we are having the same conversation (about Nazis)

This AP story about the arrest of a Texas woman who threatened Judge Chutkan omitted the fact that she called the judge, who is Black, a “dumb slave” and the N-word. They seem really invested in downplaying this belligerent extremism that’s so pervasive on the right—even in a story about someone making death threats. https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-tanya-chutkan-judge-threats-texas-7d90ad3c8b552b49e269a3f842a6700c

But don’t call them fascists because that would be partisan and rude.

"Trump’s most fanatical followers have created a situation where...elected officials who dare defy the former president face serious threats...

"As a result, the threat of violence is now a part of the American political system, to the point where Republican officials are — by their own admissions — changing the way they behave because they fear it."

Say it with me now:

“Judaism does not imply support for the far-right Netanyahu government.”

Netanyahu is a Trump-like figure leading a fascist faction in Israel, and the longer we take to make that clear, the more American Jews will be endangered.

A wave of protests continues in Germany against the activities of far-right forces and the right-wing populist pro-Russian party Alternative for Germany (AfD)

More than 80 protests against right-wing forces were registered across the country over the weekend. According to Tagesschau, the day before, in Potsdam, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock joined the protests.

They view the Putin regime’s cruelty and repression as admirable features that America should emulate. They support a wannabe dictator at home and are sympathetic to actual dictators abroad.

What they are, basically, is enemies of democracy, both abroad and at home."
