There is the most amazing blue stuff growing on my very old branches on a neglected and damp woodpile (slime / algae / moss / lichen?). I’ve never seen anything quite like it! (Northern Tuscany, Italy 🇮🇹 ) Not ideal for burning & heating my old house, but aesthetically pleasing. Ideas, anyone?

This is one of my favorite shots from a recent photo shoot. In the center at the end is the Starorobocinski Wierch, the highest peak in the Western Tatras in Poland.

It was a little cloudy here in central Texas, but was able to get a decent capture thorough the clouds. It was undeniably beautiful and weird. This was taken hand-held with a Nikon Z fc 50-200mm zoom lens. #photography#eclipse#nofilter
Good morning. Another favourite beach today, this time in summer. Portmahomack on the Tarbatness Peninsula, looking towards Loch Fleet. Highest water temperature in Summer is c.16 degrees C. In winter it can get down to 6, but doesn’t go a great deal lower in the sea. Lochs are another matter!
Calcifer’s grown a lot since November. She enjoys hopping over precarious gaps and still isn’t sure about the lights in the living room ceiling because they look like giant eyes.
