Aggressive regimes like the Russian one are rapidly increasing their appetite for aggression. When they succeed in one part of the world, it creates problems in many other places: aggression spreads if not stopped.

More modern air defense systems, including Patriots, and the ability to destroy Russian terrorists so that they cannot approach our borders, solutions that will help protect lives and prevent the spread of war.

Russia's politics are all about recovering its imperial past and dragging its former colonies back with it to again act as its servants. It's only natural that it brings back the worst of the repressive tsarist and Soviet eras. No one is safe until Russia starts looking forward.

I don't understand why the media still calls this monster "President Vladimir Putin". He is a dictator, not a president. He is a wanted serial child abductor and war criminal.

The reason is simple. Russia is waging a war against us. We are at the receiving end of Russia's death/hate machine. Russia put lots of money into the far right groups across Europe and the US propping them into power. The goal of Russia is to eradicate democracy and turn all democratic states into copies of Russia and so far they seem fairly successful. The hell trans people in the US are going through is thanks to Russia, the wave of gender-critical hate spreading across the UK is thanks to Russia. The fact that in Poland people have no access to abortion is thanks to Russia. The list goes on....
Of course, each country had its far right before Kremlin poured money into them but where were we 10 years ago before Russia actively supported the fascists? LGBT and women's rights were increasing not being dismantled one by one. The recent backlash isn't a natural event. It is an orchestrated war on 'Western values' meaning human rights, our rights.
If Ukraine falls it gives every dictator a simple recipe. Buy some nukes and you can bully with impunity. We will drown in fake news even further divorcing ourselves from reality. Democracy can't survive when people can't tell the truth from lies. When democracies collapse we, queer people are first to feel the pain.
The Kakhovka dam explosion was only two weeks ago. The genocide is ongoing and your silence is very loud.
