I don’t usually pay attention to stuff like this (nor even comment on because my own #FollowBack policies are…inexplicable over time), but I just happened to notice a figure.
I was on Twitter for 15 years and never broke 1,000 followers.
That happened in less than a year on the #fediverse.
Does anybody have a script that permits me to track anyone who follows and unfollows me to take advantage of my followback bonhomie? I'm getting a little tired of blocking these birdsite-trained opportunists by eye. And they really stink up this place. I'm not interested in follower counts. I'm interested in quality dialogue with fellow weirdos and strange geeks.
If you hear stories about #JohnMastodon, they're not real-- well, maybe not.😏
Just remember: There is no algorithm here for people who do not follow you to find you. The best way to have your toots seen is by using lots of hashtags (like these👇👇👇 ).
