Curious to hear what other @autistics have experienced with ND-related generational trauma, especially around friendship/community issues!
My therapist insightfully noticed that many of my social issues have a generational component - both my (undiagnosed) ND parents led pretty lonely lives and had trouble maintaining friendships. As a result, I lacked role models for healthy friendships growing up, and ended up in a lot of bad situations because I didn't know any better!
I'm fortunate to have never experienced this, but I'm sure predatory religions have played a factor here for many other neurodivergent families. 😞
I uh, dunno what I'm doing. I just installed the activitypub plugins I saw recommended for Wordpress but (as is sadly common) there's no much docs and I don't really know what to do with this
@SirTapTap I also have it (in a not so used #Wordpress). I find annoying that since it's a different account in the #fediverse that I follow & that follows me. When I post in #Mastodon, I get an email from my Wordpress with my "friend" post in Mastodon. Probably I can fix that. Then if I had a real audience (maybe my mother) for my blog in the Fediverse they can follow my two accounts, so my short posts (microblogging with Mastodon) and my long posts (Wordpress pages) are shared with my #friends

If you are one of those people who are on .social with me, consider venturing out into the wasteland of your local discovery feed and introducing yourself to the new people and giving them tips about how to make their #home feeds good.
So many refugees from other places land in that #discovery feed on the most popular server, and then just don't come back. Who can blame them?
Go save a few new people every day before they stop coming back. Make #friends and maybe spread the word, will you?
