In 2008 Californians voted for Prop8 that defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman in the California constitution. While this was defeated in courts this draconian Prop8 language is still in the California constitution. Justice tHomas and the right wing SCOTUS is openly hinting at destroying precedent and trampling rights. If they overturned Obergefell - the Prop8 language in the California Constitution will act as a “trigger law”, raining havoc on queer families like mine across California.
Please spread the word to vote “YES” to repeal Prop8 (2008) from the California constitution in Nov 2024. Talk to your friends, family and colleagues about it.

You might find it amazing that a supposed medical report into the treatment of trans people didn't interact with ACTUAL TRANS PEOPLE. (It did interact with plenty of antis and treated them as neutral and reasonable.) But so much did NHS England's Cass Report not interact with actual, real trans people that it resorted to generating AI pics of them.
These bigots are literally making up people to get mad at.
There are people who are still alive who were alive when it was illegal to be gay.
Actually, if you're reading this you're one of them because its STILL illegal to be gay in about 70 countries and in the USA in only the past few days culturally controlling figures like Matt Walsh have supported "conversion therapy" for gay and queer people.

The Federal Republic joins 20 countries which have passed laws allowing people to declare their own legal gender. I hope someday this will apply across the whole EU.
On a more personal level, this means I can finally change my own legal gender to #nonbinary 🎉🏳️⚧️
Discrimination against nonbinary people is real, and a new study from a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto is shining a light on one way it can happen.

You all don’t know how much I panic struggle as a #nonbinary person about how to dress for formal occasions . It’s like a constant cycle of gender and body dysphoria mixed with societal expectations and second guessing. When I literally don’t want to be tied to expectations. It’s not just you, if you ever feel like this.
