A breathtaking morning at the Navarre Beach Pier. Measuring 1,545 feet long and towering 30 feet above the ocean, it's the longest pier in the Gulf of Mexico.
Afternoon thunderstorms are a daily occurrence here on the Florida Gulf coast during the summertime & this day was no exception. These have moved offshore & will rain themselves out over the Gulf. The cloud formations with these powerful storms are always a sight to behold.
This was such a beautiful evening on the Gulf with the churned up water and the setting sun peeking through a break in the clouds casting its sun rays across the sky. Doesn’t get much better than this.
It's a moody summer evening on the Florida Gulf coast as the sun makes its departure & beautiful clouds fill the sky overhead, turning the entire scene a beautiful blue. What a great evening for a casual stroll along the beach
Summer on the beach: it's a time to walk and think and dream, to dabble in the surf, stroll barefoot in the sand, and then stop and look out, out, out into the vast expanse of the ocean's majesty. There are no walls or limitations. Is this what freedom looks like?
Sagres, Portugal is captivating in its natural beauty. Renowned for its pristine beaches & rock formations that stretch along the Algarve Coast & the Atlantic Ocean. Sagres is a surfers mecca with something to offer every level of surfer. Love the way the clouds mimic the waves of the sea.
This Algarve beach at sunset was stunning, with the sky lit up in orange and gold. Birds flying towards the setting sun, casting reflections on the wet sand. A simple yet beautiful moment, capturing the essence of the coast of Portugal.
The country is experiencing some very frigid air. Here in NM, it's 12 degrees right now. So I thought a view of Florida on the beach at sunrise might be nice. Even when it's cold there the AC is usually still running. This is under the Juno Pier, a place I enjoyed many sunrises. How cold is it where you are?
Light Over the Ocean - A long 2 second exposure allowed the water to move over and between the rocks and the sky to feather itself into a softly blurred vastness.
