We're still beholden to server owners.
It's the same problem that opt-in consent laws have begun to push back against, and it matters here even more where the whole point of #fedi is supposed to be preventing those kinds of abuse.
This is why I say the #fediverse is a lifeboat and #p2p will be the shore.
Dobrym podejściem są też web-aplikacje starające się integrować wiele profili z różnych serwisów. Np. #Phanpy, który ostatnio integruje #Mastodon i #Pixelfed (jego Media-firt UI jest świetne).
Innym tematem jest uparte trzymanie się przez Mastodona obsługi jedynie typu Note (i ułomne wyświetlanie Article). A ponieważ Mastodon dominuje w #Fedi, nie rozwija się (tak jak mogłoby) wsparcie dla innych typów treści #ActivityPub: image, video, audio, artist, album, track, playlist. De facto obrazki czy filmiki albo audio to po prostu załączniki do typu Note, bo Masto tak ma i nic innego nie wyświetli :/
Więc IMO pole do rozwoju jest ogromne, nie trzymajmy się kurczowo jednego konta (to wymysł marketingowców budujących silosy), zostańmy przy jeden login do wielu usług, jeśli już musimy ;)
Ach te ciągłe wojny rządów i platform #GAFAM, ludzi i platform, platform o jeszcze większe wpływy z reklam i dominację nad innymi platformami, to "grodzenie ogrodów" by nie wpuścić treści z zewnątrz i nie pozwolić osobom wychodzić z treściami poza platformę. To ciągłe manipulowanie algorytmami, wpływanie na opinię publiczną, wywoływanie zaangażowania emocjami i gniewem...
Jak dobrze, że w #Fedi tego nie ma. #Fediwersum jest tworzone przez ludzi dla ludzi. Nie dla kasy, a dla stworzenia platformy dyskusji i komunikacji przyjaznej ludziom. Nie rządom czy korporacjom.
Jestem szczęściarzem, że mogę w tym współuczestniczyć :)

Please do not do this. The #fedi does not work for this. The people you are targeting will mute/block and report you, and the instance you are using will likely either close your account or risk being defederated.
Man, the way folks on #fedi can be so casually cruel and hateful towards people they think represent evil things is pretty jarring, and saddening.
Like, I am absolutely not a fan of capitalism, and the words "side hustle" send me scurrying towards the nearest airsickness bag, but I see folks just lashing out and lambasting folks that are even a little bit out of line, ideologically.

Chyba stwierdzili, że #Fediwersum się jednak przyjmie, bo nie tylko zaimplementują #ActivityPub w systemie, ale również piszą czytnik, który w końcu sensownie będzie pokazywał Artykuły (tak, Mastodon od lat NIE CHCE tego zrobić, trzyma się Notki jak Twitter i blokuje tym rozwój Fedi, tzn. jego popularność, Mastodona, w mojej ocenie).

I think a lot of my frustration with some of the “consent based” social networking pushers is the lack of consistency. Those same people don’t want to utilise software that will grant them the experiences they desire, instead they want to argue and fight in an attempt to force others. Why not use #Hubzilla#GoToSocial#CounterSocial and others that have more control? Or join spaces that have allow list federation? #Fedi#Fediverse#Mastodon

I always flinch at articles which describe Masto or the wider Fedi as a "rival" to birdsite. I know they mean in functionality, but to me that sounds like they're saying we want the Fedi to be a replacement for birdsite and replacing things usually means with something very similar and I haven't met a lot of folks around here who want this joint to be ANYTHING like birdsite.
