This weekend I ordered a #Lenovo X1 carbon with #Fedora preinstalled. This still blows my mind.
It was very nearly a #Macbook pro. I'd love to experience that hardware. I'm an amateur photographer and it would be great to have another way to run #lightroom. (currently I edit on an #iPad which is actually probably better)
But the X1 won in the end. Thin and light, #Linux updates forever, all my tools of 20 years, access to drive and battery, way cheaper, consistent with my ideals.

Marques Brownlee Completely Wrecks Apple's New iPad Lineup
"Taking advantage of all of this power is nearly impossible," Brownlee lamented. All that power and thinness isn't good for much if the old M1 iPad can mostly deliver the same experience for normies.
I reflexively cringed when I saw this ad. Not only is it wasteful, the message sent across appears to be that Apple literally crushes all the things you like to make the new iPad.
Apple has come under fire because its iPad Pro “Crush” ad depicts the destruction of items used by artists. Now folks are saying it's unoriginal too. X user Andy Allen pointed out that it bears a striking resemblance to a 2008 commercial for LG's Renoir KC910. Here's more from @9to5Mac.
