What game is too terrifying to finish for you?

Mine is Silent Hill 3. Its subject matter revolves around the fears of a teenage girl, like death of a parent, puberty, unwanted pregnancy (with a demon fetus, no less), mirrors (THAT ROOM shivers), and stalkers. The atmosphere is so oppressive and I cant play the game without having something else playing in the background, its...

Some lessons from watching/collecting Maui social media videos (for a client) this week.

  1. Evacuate early if you are worried. Many survivors with videos made it out as their neighbors were waiting for someone to tell them to leave, or were saying "the fire department will put it out".
  2. If you are in the path of smoke, you will soon be in the path of embers, and then you will soon be in the fire. Smoke = get out!

Pandering to a lack of tenacity in society has become acceptable. Not universal as those with cancer & chronic illness show great determination. However, when it comes to supporting those suffering in & public we read "does the still have the appetite for" &
" fatigue" & there's acceptance of giving up or not bothering.
If those who went through had done this en masse many of us would never have been born. Has shared instinct been lost?

Tips on staying safe in Winter Conditions and when the power goes out, from the National Weather Service.

If Your Heat Goes Out

  • Close off unneeded rooms to avoid wasting heat.
  • Stuff towels or rags in cracks under doors.
  • Close blinds or curtains to keep in some heat.
  • Eat and drink. Food provides the body with energy for producing its own heat. Drinks lots of water and other non-caffeinated, non-alcholohic drinks to prevent dehydration. Cold air is very dry.
  • Wear layers of loose-fitting, lightweight, warm clothing. Remove layers to avoid overheating, perspiration and subsequent chill.

Anyone else here playing by chance?

The game is super fun, with a ton of missions and a very large map to it.

While it is a survival/crafting game, it's not as involved as other similar games are, at least not early on in the game.

Combat is super, building is easily and straightforward, crafting is very polished as well.

I wouldn't recommend it at the moment, but maybe the game is totally for you? I spent two hours with it and tried my hand at editing it down to something more watchable.

Note: I am trash with the combat system.

I spent most of my day yesterday playing the new Lego Fortnite that was released yesterday.

What a ton of fun this game is. It's a survival game, very similar to Minecraft, yet different in a lot of ways too.

I strongly suggest everyone to check it out, as it's not Fortnite related in any way other than you use Lego versions of the Fortnite skins.

I made a Slatt's Rescue paracord belt. I needed a narrower belt for my hiking pants. It has about 49 feet of paracord. I was worried I needed more paracord but the belt ended up being 58 inches long. It will be easy to shorten though. It currently weighs in at 6 ounces. Slightly less than my leather belt.

Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku? – Episode 3 – The Suspicious Mushroom People Village

In the last episode, the girls finally arrive at Higashi-Agano, and the people with mushrooms on their heads greet them. You may think they are friendly, but there is something that Akira, the girl who gets into arguments with Reimi, is very suspicious of them, and probably for a good reason.

Believe it or not, I find it fascinating how these […]
