We are surrounded by forests where I live -- in #BritishColumbia -- so we do a lot of shinrin yoku (forest bathing). I hope you enjoy this addition to my collection of artwork featuring the sun and trees.
I really enjoy creating these abstract landscapes...for this one I tried to evoke the mood of a coastal sunset in my home province of British Columbia.
A little sweet whimsy on a super hot day! It was 99 a few hours ago with a "feels like" of 114. I do wonder how the birds survive this heat when we have to go out every 2 hours with ice and mist to keep our chickens alive.
generative art version of the halting problem: it is generally impossible to determine if letting an algorithm continue will produce a better or worse artwork #generativeart#abstractart#digitalart#haltingproblem
The late, great George Jones's song "Color of the Blues" lent its title to this minimalist abstract work from me. Loose strata in shades of cobalt, indigo, navy, and other blues collide with subtle bands of brown, green, white, and purple in this piece. https://jon-woodhams.pixels.com/featured/color-of-the-blues-jon-woodhams.html
Here's another output from the summer's abandoned project. I didn't have any real direction with these except I wanted to do something with colour and texture. Now I have a big set of images like this that I don't know what to do with!
Would they work as prints? They look maybe more like postcards to me.
