Perhaps we can make it to a silent place like this. But when we can't, it's worth seeking out stillness, anywhere, in which to pursue our thoughts.

Tomorrow, I'll be joining incredible Ukrainian volunteers who survived the occupation and who remain dedicated to helping the population of Kherson and the surrounding region.🌻
Together, we'll clean out and rebuild homes destroyed by the invasion.🏚️

The movement arose on summer 2014 during the escalation of violence between Israel and the Palestinians, and the military operation “Tzuk Eitan”.

🚨The pre-dawn silence on the bus from Poland to Kyiv was shattered by air raid sirens. A chilling reminder of the ongoing threat faced by innocent Ukrainians. This is terrorism, a blatant violation of international law.

As I write, it's evening on the bus heading east. It's a quiet ride, filled with families and older adults. I can only imagine the worry and strength it takes for these families to navigate this difficult time.

All 3 men remarked on the #Israel#Hamas#war in #Gaza, reflecting on the difficulty of trying to solve intractable challenges such as #MiddleEast#peace as #POTUS. #Biden said there have been “too many innocent victims, Israeli & Palestinian,” in the conflict.

🧳I'm packed and ready to embark on my fourth humanitarian volunteer trip. Based in Kyiv and Kherson in southeastern Ukraine, I'll be working with several small, local humanitarian groups – vital lifelines for countless Ukrainians providing essential supplies and services like food distribution, medical care, and help to rebuild damaged homes during this difficult time.

In the 1st months of 1940, he invaded & occupied Norway, Denmark, Belgium & the Netherlands.
Cutting off #Ukraine seems like small beer by comparison,but behind it lies the same “#AmericaFirst” thinking.For #Trump & his followers,pulling the plug on Ukraine is part of a larger aim to END #America’s broader commitment to #European#peace & #security. America’s commitment to #NATO, Trump believes, should be conditional, at best: #Russia can do “whatever the hell they want” to #allies who do not pay their “fair share” & meet certain defense-spending objectives.
