I have half day at work, followed by a Dr appointment. This evening then my 12 year old is being inducted into the Junior National Honor Society, which is awesome! After that (or during it, kind of), my youngest two have softball practice. And I've turned into an assistant coach (long-ish story). So, I'll be heading over to that afterwards.
Got to the gym this morning to get some cardio in before the kid's got up, so that's good. Hoping to keep it up and get to the gym every weekday this week. Been a while since I've done that.
Maybe it’s time for a two year “rule- and law-maker lockdown,” to include SCOTUS , appeals courts, state & federal legislators, school boards, city councils, county supervisors, bureaucratic heads of libraries, political parties & elections — and anyone else who quite literally makes the rules that control the rest of us.
Finish up current dockets, then shut down those courts as well.
Do we really NEED any more laws? NO!
Aren’t we all sick of appeal after appeal until those with the most money win? YES!
Just freeze everything as is, let them all go home and sit on their butts for two years then take the country’s temperature. I suspect we’ll be just fine. The few who are working now are just fucking everything up anyway.
Lock Trump up first, of course, as should have been done on Jan 7.
Our outside boy Sandy got very scared during the eclipse, and we had to comfort him. I told him he didn't have to worry about it again since the next one is many years from now.
It's a breezy one, here in the valley.
Black crows are darting and flitting about like soot off a wayward candle.
Our magnificent #magnolia tree has begun casting off its shell pink, boat shaped petals, and the delicate foliage of our #acers is dancing in the wind.
