Hi everyone, I'm a totally blind electronic Musician. I'm putting out the Call for #AudioDevelopers who are #ios conversant to come and work on a very special open source project with me. The project would be an open source groove box for everyone running on iOS but built with a focus on accessibility and voice over screen reader compatibility. If you can help reach out. reposts for this would be much appreciated thank you very much :-) #Techno#ElectronicMusic
I’m a totally blind electronic musician I would like to work with someone to build a free accessible open source electronic music production program using the sunvox development library for the musical an audio side. Link: https://warmplace.ru/soft/sunvox/sunvox_lib.php it would run on Mac and windows and be screen reeder compatible or self voicing. If anyone thinks they can help please reach out. #electronicmusic#electronic music #sonvox#techno
If you're involved in electronic music-making and you're not white, please DM me on here.
I've just been watching loads of #SuperBooth footage and was aghast at how overwhelmingly white the whole thing is. I've seen more diversity at EDL marches.
So, I'm gonna try and do something about it. And the first thing is organising.
If you're a new/recent follower, hello! Welcome to my feed. I hope you like #independent#music (especially #ElectronicMusic!) recommendations, discussions about the #life of a #musician, music-related #shitposts and the occasional smattering of leftist (pro labor, pro justice, pro human rights, anti racist, anti police, anti fascist) politics.
I'm a good follow if you're looking for #NewMusic or if you're a musician making new music. If you're both, well...
I’m a #GenX#maker of #soundscapes and #electronicmusic. In other words, I use electricity to push air molecules around into interesting patterns. My weapons of choice are #eurorack#modular#synthesizers as well as #samplers and #trackers. Mangling and reshaping cultural detritus from the mid/late-20th century is my current thing. That and making lots of highly experimental and abstruse #ModularTransmission recordings with absolutely no target market in mind.
Hello new folks! There's a lot of you recently, so I thought I'd do an #intro post. I'm an independent #musician who uses Mastodon to spread the word about #IndependentMusic --my own, and the work of others! If you #follow, you'll get lots of recommendations of new, #independent, #underground#music of all kinds! My own favorite is weird #ElectronicMusic, but I listen to and write about all kinds of music.
The FSA #Faircamp site is online! There's a couple tweaks to be made, for example, I seem to have gotten at least one release date wrong (copy/paste strikes again), but nothing I'm worried about fixing right away.
Support is always appreciated, but feel free to just listen or take advantage of the "soft" paywall too.
Hi everyone! I'm a composer & audio developer. I also like fountain pens, mechanical keyboards, software-defined radio, leftist politics & learning new things.
My music tends toward the glitchy, noisy, microtonal side of things, and I like to use Max/MSP and incorporate audio samples from my software-defined radio hobby. You can find my music at my site, SoundCloud & YouTube:
Here's one of my compositions I'm particularly proud of. It's for trumpet, trombone, percussion, and MIDI keyboard. There are cheesy Yamaha DX7 synth sounds, microtonal brass, and glitchy, distorted noise.
Moving instances calls for a new introduction to pin!
Hi! I'm Sesselja and I'm a 28 years old trans woman from Iceland.
I have ADHD and a variety of hobbies so I end up jumping between projects in different fields a lot. Currently I'm working on a Cyberpunk RED TTRPG campaign/setting set in Iceland (because I love making more work for myself than I have to), creating a CYOA game engine on Discord with NodeJS, writing something that's looking like it might become a novel, and I have a big pile of unfinished music. Some of these I might finish one day.
I also play games, mostly FFXIV and an unhealthy amount of Magic: the Gathering Arena, and I've been getting into Space Engineers lately as well.
I listen to a lot of electronic music, mostly DNB, mid-tempo bass and dubstep.
Most of the media I enjoy has sci-fi or fantasy elements, but I'm also a sucker for romance webtoons.
Things I do not like include, but are not limited to (in no particular order): Fascists, capitalism, bigots, asparagus
Well, have decided to try my hand at creating music with #sequencing after rekindling my interest in #electronicmusic - bearing in mind the last time I used a sequencer it was an #Alesis MMT8 - and it was new!
This time it will all be #inthebox though. Cubase includes a simple but handy sequencer called Step Designer and I've installed the free VST plugin called #Stochas which has more advanced capabilities like 'probability' attribute per note and more... I may be 'asking the audience'.. soon!
Are you a She/Her or They/Them person in music? Hobbyist, professional, amateur, expert, anybody in audio engineering, sound design, music technology, etc?
This is my album “Transmission Received From Galaxy Nine Nine” which was released in May this year.
It is a free download.
Here are some codes if you wish to add it to your collection:

If you don't have a bandcamp collection these are pretty useless to you, however, fret not, you can jump over to my BC and pop zero in the payfield to cop whatever you want.
If you are reading this in the future and the codes for the release you dig are all claimed, hmu and I'll see if I can sort you out.
Apparently #BandcampFriday is still going, which makes this an even better-than-usual day to support artists there. If you like electronic music, perhaps you'd like to support the latest full-length release from my project Fugue State, Coming Through.
An advertisement for the 1981 #Kraftwerk single "Pocket Calculator", from the American music trade magazine #RecordWorld. The single got heavy airplay in #Detroit but failed to catch on elsewhere. I was unaware of the promotional campaign with #Atari. Wonder what that was all about? #Music#ElectronicMusic#Electro#RetroElectro
