Moin. I am a (soon to be finished) computer science student in Germany. My interests are #FOSS#functionalProgramming and #gamedev. I focus on 2D puzzlers but am open for more. I am also interested in human languages. Especially conlangs like #TokiPona. If able, I go climbing fairly regularly.
Sadly I am not very good at expressing myself so if I say something controversial, take it with a grain of salt.

I'm a forty-something IT professional that started his career tinkering with the C64 in the 80s.
I was on Twitter for a few years but that appears to be going down the drain lately, so figured I check out this Mastodon-thing.
Interests are music, technology, programming, electronics, 3D printing and retro-computing. My partner would say I have too many C64s and MCUs. (I'd strongly disagree.)

Let’s do a proper #introduction. I am Slothdude, a hobbyist #sloth#artist. I used to draw sloths on an app called #DrawQuest until it shut down, and then for a while drew sloth portraits of people on another app called French Girls until that shut down, too. Now I draw sloths wherever I can, usually with an iPad app #Procreate. I do slothified versions of fine #art as well as cartoons and #fanart. I am also a #lego enthusiast.
I enjoy talking to people about what they do and figure out how to model it in a way that helps them to make decisions. It feels a bit like a cross between writing speculative fiction, social history, programming, and statistics. I'm CEO of a company called Mastodon C (no relation to the fediverse). We do this mostly for Local Authority clients but have done it for all sorts of orgs.
When I'm not doing that I enjoy cycling (on my fat bike or Brompton), reading (mostly science fiction or history or science), gardening, board and card games, and other things when the world isn't quite so risky. I watch a lot of "telly" and "films". I try to take photos of whatever is to hand, but mostly share things that are already beautiful rather than find beauty in good composition or skill.
I'm a lefty green anarchist politically, but really bad at it. I support the SNP and Greens in Scotland and would like an independent Scotland with more power devolved to local authorities.

#introduction Hi peeps, I'm darkliquid, a coder and TTRPG enthusiast with a few things published, namely Rusthaven: a source book for Numenera, Non-Player Cards: an NPC generation toolkit, Mother's Milk: a trophy gold incursion, Roommates Wanted: a trophy dark incursion and various other bits dotted around here and there. Slowly working away on a few more projects, hopefully some of which will see the light of day at some point. Cypher system, rooted in trophy and forged in the dark is my jam.
