:playstation: Interesting - Sony has been using Flickr to host (and "hotlink") images on the official Playstation Blog since 2007. Which seems like a unusual hosting choice for a multinational media conglomerate 🤔

I've been kinda simmering over an interaction I had like 4-5 years ago. I said I'd like to see a mainline Legend Of Zelda game where you play as Zelda. I got jumped (figuratively) by a few guys who didn't see the point, it's always been Link, and they didn't want it.
So, me, significantly more insecure, trying to be friendly, discussed it with them and we got to a point where it'd be ok if there was at least a choice between Link and Zelda.
No.
These fucking babyass shriveldicks can cope for one damn game where they're not catered to. I don't want a choice. I want a game that Link is fucking dead. D-E-D, Dead. It's all up to Zelda. We've had to put up with lifetimes of male as default, taking in media that centers around men. I'm tired of the consolation prize of "Well, we'll add a gender selection for you". Why is it always (hyperbole for effect) male character, or a choice?
You can deal with one game that's not all about serving you.
@Gwendolyn Yessss! Zelda does need her own game! I hate that the only times she has have been Wand of Gamelon and Zelda’s Adventure, both of which sucked. D:
in celebration of space quest ii's 36th anniversary (november 14, 1987) i've recorded two of mark crowe's finest animated EGA/16-color backgrounds from the game in 1080p :)
@edenwaith it gets very unfairly savaged by sierra fans as being 'among the worst of the sq games' for the usual reasons.
but jeez, it's hard to find a more beautifully coloured and animated AGI game! i think Black Cauldron is the only one i could compare favourably with it.
I did a #topsters chart for the #AdventureGames I've played in the last 20 years at different times and with different levels of enjoyment. #TheLongestJourney was my favorite, hands down. #BrokenSword was my go-to for mystery/art. #Agon Lost Sword of Toledo was good for the story and southern European setting, I Have no Mouth was the most shocking, #Sanitarium was a mindfuck and the others, classic and new, I'd recommend anyway. #Gaming#Videogames#PCgaming#Playstation3

@gamingonlinux I’m so happy to see this. I recently re-bought the game on GOG (they are doing wonderful work) but seeing open source theme hospital is the best thing. The game is a classic

@townbanshee well, first of all, I love it. secondly, the geography is instantly recognizable to even a casual SV fan. thirdly, I love it. Fourthly, the art style and subject matter go together so well - it's obviously not CA's style, yet it still feels like the PS2 version of SV somehow. Fifthly, I love it.
