What absorbs us, catches our attention, causes us to stop and completely focus? Is it a thought of our own, a moment of imagination and play? May it be so -- may we be enchanted and entranced by nature and life.
Green -- it's the color of spring, new life, light, hope, and outrageous growth. Some days, when you sit by the river and watch the water flow slowly by, you swear you can hear the grass rustling as it reaches for the sky.
Storms are as much a part of life as they are of the weather. Sometimes, we ride them out inside by a warm fire and with a cup of tea. But other times, when we're out in the middle of them, we have the option to turn and defy them.
When the sun comes out, so do the Buttercups and Daisies. Looks like they are taking over the lawn. But I like to see the weeds, they are pretty. And in just a little while, I will have Blue Speedwell and the purple and white clover joining them. Any flowers are good for the bees and other insects, and it's better than looking at plain grass.
May the artwork bring to your soul the joy and independence that living free -- thinking, speaking, and journeying -- engenders, nurtures, and strengthens.
