I'll do signing sessions for my comic books during the festival "Bulles à Croquer" of Saint-Brieuc on the 8 and 9 July. I'm also honored the festival organized a Pepper&Carrot exhibition this year. The entrance is free and you'll find many other authors and activities. I hope I'll meet a lot of you!

When you're out in the middle of nowhere with your Infrared Camera and find this weird castle thing. Then the clouds decide to 1-up the whole thing.

Happy birthday to Jocelyn Bell Burnell! In 1967, she was a grad student when she discovered the 1st radio pulsar, a highly magnetized, rotating neutron star that emits a beam of EM radiation. This radiation can only be observed when the star is pointed towards us; so, like the light from a lighthouse, it appears to pulse at a precise frequency. She had been working with her supervisor Hewish & others to construct a radio telescope to

We are surrounded by forests where I live -- in -- so we do a lot of shinrin yoku (forest bathing). I hope you enjoy this addition to my collection of artwork featuring the sun and trees.

I used to live in a little cabin with a view of the ocean so I often got to see sailboats sailing around the bay. You could never get tired of that view!

Good News! The Artisans Cooperative had its soft opening yesterday. I have around half-ish my stuff onboarded at this point, and will continue adding new things as time permits.

Artisans Cooperative is an Etsy alternative that only allows hand crafted items, nothing mass produced. Member artists get profit sharing from the org.

If you want to take a peek, here's a link:

Santa Fe blue doors are usually found adorning old adobe style homes and are a symbol of the architectural charm of this Southwestern city, the capital of New Mexico. The blue is a symbol of the sky and a vibrant contrast to the earth toned adobe. Not just doors, they are artistic expressions.

I'm calling it quits on my Halloween Countdown as I've not made enough new horror art for it this year, and cos of nerve pain, I'm trying to minimise time on my computer and clay desk atm. Urgh. Maybe next year! 😬

Anyways, here's a throwback to a few of my horror/dark genre movie posters 🖤

Hashtags:

My poster for Candyman with my model of the titular character (played by Tony Todd)
My poster for Suspiria with my model of the female protagonist holding a weapon
My poster for Pan's Labyrinth with my clay interpretation of The Pale Man

Pixel art of an age-old narrative, etched upon the canvas of earth, where mountains, those colossal guardians of time, stand tall and grand, their stony countenances weathered yet unyielding. Nestled in their rocky embrace, a river ebbs and swirls in the foreground, its vibrant hues a living testament to the relentless cycle of life and death. The river's sinuous form, like a sapphire ribbon, adorns the scene and breathes life into the stoic landscape. From an aerial vista, the land lays bare its secrets, revealing an ancient tableau that whispers tales of epochs past. This is a planet echoing with the warm resonance of time, its memories etched into every crevasse and peak, its history a vivid tapestry woven in the threads of granite and water.
