I’m interested in running (i.e., ) as the app server for a website. The website has multiple domains pointing to it, and I plan to run this in a cluster. Can someone point to any docs or blog posts that show how others have set up similar configurations with Caddy or FrankenPHP, especially with regard to how Caddy magically configures HTTPS for the domains in this kind of setup?

@ramsey used Frankenphp recently to setup a small site - it works very nicely and makes the whole PHP service in docker thing much simpler.

https://frankenphp.dev/docs/config/#environment-variables looks to be the documented way to specify the hosts and seems to support multiples.

"For years, oil refineries across the country have pumped out dangerous levels of benzene, a toxic chemical that can cause leukemia and other blood cancers.

But in a rare example of environmental progress, benzene emissions from nearly all of those refineries have recently plummeted due to strong federal regulations and oversight, according to a new analysis by a watchdog group."

Toxic Gaslighting: How 3M Executives Convinced a Scientist the Forever Chemicals She Found in Human Blood Were Safe

Decades ago, Kris Hansen showed 3M that its PFAS chemicals were in people’s bodies.

Her bosses halted her work.

As the now forces the removal of the chemicals from drinking , she wrestles with the secrets that 3M kept from her and the world.

"Traditional print publishing comes with a high carbon footprint.

But digital reading seems to have a considerable eco-advantage over print because it is paperless, so it saves trees, pulping and shipping [...] But digital devices also come with a substantial carbon footprint, predominantly at the manufacturing stage."

This is why I have zero respect for Greenpeace.

A crop that could save 250k-500k children in the global south, and because it's openly GM, unlike all the rice, wheat, and barley, varieties that are available in the global north (Calrose, Amaroo, etc), Greenpeace are opposed to it.

Nothing sadder than a rich white environmentalist screaming at the global south that "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" https://www.theguardian.com/environment/article/2024/may/25/greenpeace-blocks-planting-of-lifesaving-golden-rice-philippines

First proof of 'flickers' before climate tipping point

The new findings point to the possibility of a future climatic tipping point, where the climate shifts suddenly and drastically to a new state.

These rapid environmental changes had a major impact on humans in northern Africa, as grasslands, open forests, and lakes disappeared

If the works, it'll be great for the & in CA, & other areas of the US:

Kern Co still produces~3/4 of the CAs oil & gas, but CA’s push to decarbonize its energy grid is putting these rigs +ppl who operate them out of work. The battery-storage tech plan is to retrofit depleted oil wells to store concentrated energy in super-heated groundwater +use that heat to drive turbines when energy demand rises. If it works as planned...
