Now I'm in my Mastodon Forever Home should I do another #introduction?

I've been making pictures, animations & games for the last 20 yrs or so.

A long time ago I was known for making Flash animations for parody songs (topics ranging from ID cards to tin foil hats & sprouts).

Recent animations were about Brexit & I continue to create creatures that I would like to exist. They tend to be fluffy.

Quite political. Quite left leaning.

Some of my pictures are about that.

Some are just silly.

A creature with fluffy gently waving fluffy tentacles on the left and right, a tall thin furry body and two eyes in round furry balls at the top. It has a large pulsating nose bump, and a slightly pursed mouth. It was once a red squirrel, although I don't really want to think about that as it ruins the magic of its new fluffy tentacled form.

I've been on Mastodon since October, and this is my 3rd server. I finally found the folks I want to hang with!!

I use content warnings for all sorts of stuff, just trying to be considerate! I always make sure there's #AltText and #CamelCase for my own posts as well as those I boost. #Accessibility matters.

I enjoy learning about #history and #archeology, particularly the #neolithic.

I'm also interested in #UrbanPlanning and how we can make communities greener. I'm getting my first #ebike in a couple weeks!!!

i enjoy learning languages & learning about languages -- i'm currently learning japanese, french, and arabic. There are many more i would like to learn if i had the time 😭

I also love anime & manga!! some of my favourite anime are space dandy, hidamari sketch, ojamajo doremi, haibane renmei and the ghost in the shell series.

as for music i mostly listen to rap (of all kinds -- cloud rap, plugg, trap, boom bap, alternative, etc) but I also like shibuya-kei, hyperpop, electronic, jungle, and I love discovering new artists of any genre!
